WebtraffIQTM Press Release:
Title: WebtraffIQ acquisition
Date: 18th October 2006, London, UK
Author: Marcos Richardson Director WebtraffIQ

WebtraffIQ Ltd acquired by one of the UK’s largest web design firms * after achieving ABC ELECTRONIC accreditation

Moore-Wilson http://www.m-w.co.uk , one of the UK’s largest web design firms* has acquired Web Analytics agency WebtraffIQ http://www.webtraffiq.com after WebtraffIQ recently achieved ABC ELECTRONIC http://www.abce.org.uk  2 star accreditation.

One of the key investment criteria for making the final decision to acquire WebtraffIQ was the fact they had just been accredited by ABC ELECTRONIC. Moore-Wilson had been aware of many other Web Analytics companies during the decision process. After investigation is was clear that Moore-Wilson could not acquire a system that was not proven in terms of its ability to support industry agreed standards.  It was vital that numbers could be certified by ABC ELECTRONIC. There would be many implications with both customers and shareholders alike if data analysis and reporting was found to be non compliant.

Steve Wilson, MD of Moore-Wilson said; “WebtraffIQ gives us a real edge in delivering solutions to our clients where we can measure and optimise our work with much greater precision than before.”

Marcos Richardson of WebtraffIQ commented; “As WebtraffIQ brings an ABC ELECTRONIC accredited system on board it means that the figures we provide can be relied upon to stand the test of external scrutiny and numbers can be independently audited, with ease, as and when this is required. Our data will underpin design and marketing decisions.”

Moore-Wilson, first established in 1990, is one of the UK's largest web design firms *, with offices in Covent Garden and Salisbury. It is a high quality, graphic and web design consultancy, offering a genuinely seamless range of services from branding and corporate literature through to web design and online marketing.

WebtraffIQ is well known within the Web Analytics Industry and has been able to boast many industry firsts *.  Amazingly, WebtraffIQ offered the first page tagging system in the Industry as used by NASA.  The first SMS alerts system, Internet Fraud application, First terrestrial Television to Internet tracking (for Halifax), Radio to Internet tracking for City & Guilds and most recently the first web analytics vendor agnostic consultancy service*.

Richard Foan, Managing Director of ABC ELECTRONIC commented; “We are delighted to congratulate Moore-Wilson on acquiring WebtraffIQ and to welcome them to the ABC ELECTRONIC Associate Subscriber scheme. We are particularly pleased that WebtraffIQ have been able to demonstrate the accuracy of their solution so quickly. We’re looking forward to working with them in supporting our clients in achieving certification and using their traffic data and audited figures successfully”

Combining the strong analysis gained by using WebtraffIQ’s reporting and consultancy with the Moore-Wilson’s service range will deeply enhance customer fulfilment and thus establish greater customer loyalty.
